Become part of an expert team in paint formulation

You can look forward to becoming proficient in an area where nothing is reduced to black or white. You must be able to navigate in many raw materials and formulations, which provides almost end-less combination possibilities. You will be involved in the entire development process, from specification to documentation of the final products. The focus in the coming years will be to reduce car-bon footprint and continue the process of launching even more sustainable products. We will pro-vide you with optimal facilities in our newly established state-of-the-art laboratory that is in our headquarters in Rødovre.

Your tasks will include:


•    Responsible for at category of recipes 
•    Being active in networking in relation to staying updated about new raw materials/technologies and processes that enables the creation of new innovative products.
•    Leading 3-5 development projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, such as product managers, procurement and production managers, suppliers, and other partners
•    Developing new products and technologies that support long-term product roadmaps and the coming strategy focusing on reduced carbon footprint and sustainable products in general.
•    Maintaining current products and taking responsibility for making the necessary changes to formulations and documentation.
•    You must also expect to take part in the laboratory tasks.
•    Collaborate and organize the daily work of 1-2 Laboratory Technicians.
•    Improving development processes and activities, as well as implementing adjustments based on observed challenges.
•    Proactively sharing relevant knowledge with the team.

Your palette

Our new colleague is a trained Chemical Engineer or Chemist who has experience in coatings or related chemical areas within polymer technology, where work has been done on the development of chemical formulations with specific functionality. In-depth knowledge of Office365, Excel, is a prerequisite. Furthermore, you must be experienced in the methods of design of experiments. Being up to date on the technological development within raw materials used in the architectural coatings industry is an advantage.

The position is located at our head office in Rødovre, and most of the time will be spent there, but there is the possibility to work from home when work allows it. The role is organized with direct reference to the Head of Research & Development.
